Dennis R Adams

Instructional Designer

I was born one of six children after World War II,  I guess that makes me a baby boomer. Grew up on a small farm where I lived until I was married in 1971. I have worked in the restaurant service industry most of my life as a technician for commercial food equipment. After that I went into sales and consulting for large restaurants and institutions. In 1999 I decided to accomplish my lifelong dream to go to college. I spent four years at Kent State University and obtained my degree in Business Administration which served me well until 2015 when I decided to change careers and go into the field of education. While going for my masters in Adult Education I was introduced to Instructional Design and knew this is what I wanted to do. My background in Adult Education gave me a strong foundation to build my Instructional Design career. I am looking forward to using my experiences in life and my skills at Instructional Design to create useful and engaging instruction.
